  • We, shall be under no liability whatsoever in respect of any loss or damage arising directly or indirectly out of the decline of authorization for any Transaction, on Account of the Cardholder having exceeded the preset limit mutually agreed by us with our acquiring bank from time to time.

Backorder Policy

At The Wooden Atelier, many of our furniture pieces are handcrafted and made to order. Occasionally, certain products may be temporarily unavailable but still open for purchase as a “Backorder” item.

Please read our backorder policy carefully before placing an order.

What is a Backorder?

A backorder means the product is currently out of stock or under production, but you can still place your order in advance. Once production is completed, your order will be shipped according to the estimated delivery timeline.

Estimated Production & Delivery Time

Since our furniture is handmade and crafted with precision, backordered items may require additional production time.

  • Standard Backorder Processing Time: 2–6 weeks
  • Custom Furniture Orders: 4–8 weeks

Delivery timelines may vary depending on:

  • Product design complexity
  • Customization requirements
  • Delivery location
  • Customers will be informed if any unexpected delay occurs.
  • Order Confirmation

Once your backorder is placed:

You will receive an order confirmation via email or WhatsApp.

  • Our team may contact you for customization details or delivery confirmation.
  • Production begins after payment confirmation.

Payment Policy

  • Full or partial payment may be required to confirm backordered items.
  • Customized or made-to-order furniture cannot be cancelled once production has started.
  • EMI or installment orders, if applicable, will follow the financing provider’s terms.

Cancellation Policy

  • Standard Backorders
  • Orders may be cancelled within 24 hours of placing the order if production has not started.

Customized Orders

  • Customized furniture orders are non-refundable and non-cancellable once manufacturing begins.

Delivery Delays

While we strive to deliver within the promised timeline, delays may occur due to:

  • Handcrafted production process
  • Transportation or courier issue

Weather or unforeseen circumstances

We appreciate your patience and understanding for handmade furniture craftsmanship.

Damaged or Incorrect Product

If you receive a damaged or incorrect item:

  • Notify us within 48 hours of delivery
  • Share clear photos/videos of the issue

Our support team will assist with replacement or resolution
